Adam was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Moorpark, California. Sophie was born in England and immigrated to Camarillo, California in February 2002.

We first met in 2015, while Adam was competing on the Bradley University Speech Team and Sophie was competing on the Moorpark College Forensics Team. Adam was a Moorpark College Forensics alumnus, and Sophie would soon join the Bradley University Speech Team, too.

We started dating on December 17, 2017, while both living in Peoria, Illinois. In typical Sophie fashion, the conversation went something like this: so, am I your girlfriend now or what?

In August 2018, we moved to Chicago, Illinois to begin our life together. Adam continued working in film and television, and Sophie enrolled at the John Marshall Law School.

From September 2021 to August 2022, Sophie lived in Indianapolis, Indiana while serving a one-year term as a federal law clerk. Adam held down the fort in Chicago.

We got engaged on December 24, 2021 at our favorite spot in Chicago, where Lake Michigan curves around the downtown skyscrapers near the Adler Planetarium.

We now live in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago with our four cats (Ellie, Luna, Oliver, and George) and two bearded dragons (Roo and Kevin). We can't wait to become husband and wife, and hope you can join us to celebrate!
